Two individuals are now facing charges following a suitcase robbery where a suspected pepper spray caused injuries at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and two counts of using a harmful chemical, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, police said.

A young child was caught up in the incident during the incident. Five people were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

The incident – which authorities stated was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – led to disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
